Ranger Parker Caught Dogman Attacking Bigfoot in Land Between the Lakes Then He Did that
I watched with my own eyes as a pack of dog men launched a vicious attack on a group of Bigfoot deep within the forests of land between the lakes. The alpha Bigfoot charged like a living tank delivering a shoulder bash, carrying a,000 lb of force, pinning his opponent into a defensive corner. Facing that furious power, the Dogman leader displayed terrifying cunning.
He didn’t block the blow headon. Instead, he twisted his body aside, a movement that was fluid yet deadly, and snapped back, biting the Bigfoot. This battle held none of the chaos of the wild animal fights I was used to seeing. The close quarters combat, the evasions, the terrifyingly fast reactions, it all proved that this wasn’t the first time they had clashed.
Because in the very next moment, a small but unmistakable detail silently overturned every assumption I had about that confrontation.
My name is Ryan McCall and I am 70 years old. Before retiring, I worked at Land Between the Lakes. As you know, this place is famous for legends involving creatures far beyond human imagination. When I first started working here, I heard plenty about them.
But back then, I was just like, “Yeah, interesting.” That is until I actually witnessed it. The forest I thought I knew was merely the surface layer of something much more ancient and complex. This story took place 20 years ago, back when I had only been working here for about 3 years. Before that, I had spent a decade in the military.
It was a life defined by orders, discipline, and clear-cut boundaries. But when I left the service, I chose to become a ranger. That decision didn’t come from a moment of impulse, but from the seeds my grandfather had planted in my mind since I was a small child. To him, the forest wasn’t just trees or wild beasts. It was a truly living world with memories, a soul, and its own set of laws that humans were never permitted to disregard.
He believed that within the woods lived creatures that did not belong in textbooks or conventional science. Not demons exactly, but ancient guardians who had been there long before humans ever gave names to this land. The forest isn’t evil, he used to say, but it will punish those who fail to respect it. When I began my ranger duties at land between the lakes, I was still skeptical of those words.
This is a vast sanctuary nestled between two immense lakes with dense forests stretching endlessly. By day, it is strangely peaceful sunlight filtering through the oaks and maples. The ground is covered in dry leaves, and the sounds of birds and insects blend into a neverending background hum. My job mainly involved patrolling trails, checking campsites, ensuring no illegal hunting, and assisting visitors in trouble.
Sometimes it was clearing fallen trees after a storm. Other times it was tracking animal signs to report the population of deer coyotes or wild boores. Night shifts, however, were entirely different. When the sun set, land between the lakes became uncomfortably silent. The wind blowing through the trees sounded like whispers, and the pitch black lake surface was like a mirror swallowing the moonlight hole.
I often drove my pickup truck slowly down the dirt roads, headlights sweeping across the trees on either side. In theory, everything was normal, very by the book. But there were nights when I felt like I wasn’t alone, as if the forest was watching me back, weighing whether I was worthy of being there. And it was on nights like those that my grandfather’s warnings began to echo in my head, clearer than ever.
By the way, I’m curious. Where are you watching this video? In your living room in front of the TV or on a small phone in your hand. Leave a comment and let me know. If this story gives you chills or simply makes you curious about what still lies hidden out there, share it with a friend or loved one you trust will listen until the end.
Because sometimes stories like this aren’t just for entertainment. They are to remind us that the world is still far vaster and more mysterious than we imagine.
Everything began to change during a night shift in the middle of the summer of 1995. That summer at land between the lakes was harsher than usual.
The air was dry hot enough that even the nights offered no relief. Leaves were crisp and brittle underfoot. The smell of burnt grass lingered in the wind, and a single careless cigarette butt could set the whole forest ablaze. Due to the high fire risk management increased night patrols, and I was one of those assigned to stay. It was a routine task for me.
I sat in the small guard station near the lake, a simple cabin with a window facing the western woods. The ceiling fan spun sluggishly, unable to chase away the stifling heat clinging to my skin. I was halfway through an old book, occasionally looking up at the wall clock or glancing out the window, listening to the insects outside.
Around midnight, I saw movement in the brush to the west. It was a few miles away near the lake shore where animals often came to drink. At first, I didn’t think much of it. A white-tailed deer perhaps, or a large rabbit finding its way to the water’s edge. The movement was low, swaying, very similar to what I had grown accustomed to seeing over years in this profession.
Then the thing stepped out of the bushes. It didn’t jump. It didn’t crouch. It stood up.
I put my book down without realizing I had done so. In the dim moonlight, I saw a figure towering over any animal I had ever recorded. It stood on two hind legs, its height easily exceeding 7 ft. Its body leaning slightly forward as if balancing.
The legs were bent backward at the knees, the structure of a fast running beast, not a human planting its feet on the pads rather than the heels. The way it moved made my scalp go numb. It walked slowly, deliberately, taking long strides that were terrifyingly silent. Its back wasn’t straight. It was hunched as if the upper body weight was too great, or it wasn’t born to stand fully upright like us.
Behind it, a long, thick tail hung down, covered in dark fur, nearly touching the ground. The tail didn’t wag like a dog’s, nor did it thrash in excitement. It moved slowly with control, brushing lightly over the dry leaves.
Every time it changed direction. Whenever the creature stopped, the tail lifted slightly, stiffening for a moment, like a part of the body that was listening instead of ears.
I couldn’t see its face clearly. Shadows obscured the head, revealing only a thick neck and a head jutting forward, showing no sign of bowing to graze or sniff the ground. It didn’t head toward the lake, as I had assumed. It turned its body slightly slowly, and in that moment, I had a very distinct feeling.
The thing standing out there hadn’t come to drink water.
“What the hell is that? Is it a wolf?” I asked myself. Can a wolf stand on two hind legs? It sounded ridiculous.
Speaking of which, I felt a chill remembering the rumors about mysterious creatures in this area. Dogman? That’s right.
There was a time when rumors circulated about a 1982 case involving a dogman attack, but they remained just rumors with no concrete evidence.
So, if that was the case, what was standing in front of me?
I was so confused that my fingers suddenly lost all feeling. The book slipped from my hand and hit the wooden floor with a dry thud, sounding far too loud in the quiet guard room.
I bent down to pick it up. It took a few seconds no more, but when I raised my head again, the scene outside the window had changed.
The bushes to the west were still there. The lake was still calm. The moonlight still hung suspended over the canopy. Only the thing that had just been standing there was gone.
No towering figure, no unusual movement, as if it had never existed.
My heart started pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears. I bolted up, knocking my chair backward, grabbed the high-powered flashlight hanging by the door, and practically lunged outside.
The hot, dry air of the summer night hit me in the face, carrying the scent of burnt grass and dust. I swept the flashlight toward the lake shore, the beam cutting through the bushes where I had just seen it.
Nothing.
I walked quickly toward the spot boots crunching on dry leaves, every sound seeming abnormally loud.
The light swept over tree trunks roots and the deep hollow darkness between the trees. No sign of a beast over 7 feet tall standing here just seconds ago. No sound of running away. No broken branches. Not a single rustle.
Before I tell you what happened next, I want to ask you something.
If you were me in that moment, standing alone in the middle of a dry, hot summer night, facing a forest that had suddenly become terrifyingly empty, what would you do?
Continue searching or go back to the guard shack and convince yourself you were seeing things.
Is anyone there? I shouted, my voice sounding strange and tight. Come out. I am a ranger. This area is under patrol.
My words rang out and dissolved into the darkness, swallowed by the forest without a single echo. Only the insects continued to chirp steadily as if they had never been silenced by the presence of that thing.
I stood there for a few more minutes, the flashlight shaking in my hand, trying to find a rational explanation.
Maybe my eyes played tricks on me. Maybe the shadows and moonlight deceived my brain. Maybe I was so tired I imagined it all.
But I knew one thing clearly.
I was completely wide awake. I wasn’t dozing off. I wasn’t dreaming.
And never in all my time working here had I mistaken an animal for something walking on two legs, standing taller than the brush, and moving with such disturbing agency.
Something or someone was out there.
I didn’t know if it appeared just to scare me or was watching or had a deeper purpose or perhaps it was a prank on the new rangers.
I reassured myself and returned to the room.
My eyes remained strained, staring at the area where the strange creature had just appeared.
But I only saw a few normal animals coming to drink, making it seem like seeing that creature was just my hallucination.
But things took a turn for the worse around midnight.
