Montana Rescue Crew Claims They Filmed a Giant “Bigfoot” Carrying an Injured Man Into an Abandoned Mine

COOK CITY, Mont. — A routine winter search-and-rescue mission in the Beartooth Mountains has ignited intense debate among scientists, federal authorities, and the public after a helicopter crew claimed they witnessed — and partially filmed — a massive, unidentified bipedal creature carrying a missing hiker into an abandoned mine system.

The incident, which allegedly occurred in January during a search for wildlife photographer Ethan Miller, has resurfaced after a video and detailed firsthand account circulated widely on YouTube and social media. The story centers on veteran helicopter pilot Mark Henderson and two experienced trackers who say the creature not only took Miller underground, but later appeared to protect him — and even guide rescuers to safety during a mine collapse.
